Weyreggerstraße 11
Schörfling Austria

The exclusivity of the "Evocations" exhibition is to exhibit only contemporary drawings. Drawing represents an extremely sensitive, subtle, empathic and personal medium of artistic expression. His contemporary language is direct, spontaneous, emotional and intimate, capable of creating a sensational intensity in the creative process, in carrying out the birth of a suggestive and expressive form. The drawing does not require a complex and technically complicated execution capacity, it does not intend to arrive at a definitive and monumental form, but leaves the possibility, to the artist and then to the user, to enter a territory of radical imagination, in the empire of limitless imagination, where the ghosts and creatures of the artist's inner life develop freely. Visions and hallucinations, memory images capable of interacting with the experience of socio-cultural reality, individual ghosts that mix together with different elements of the concrete micro-social situation. An offensive sensuality, a touching and profound emotionality, but also an intellectual interrogation, a subversive irony that characterize the richness of the narrativity of contemporary drawing.
